Hi there.

I'm a baby learning to walk when it comes to real estate in general.

I have 2 houses that I will inherit in the future and I knew right away that I would rent them out as vacation homes.

However I'm not going to get these until way later in the future.

I have wanted to do this since I was around 22 yrs old(now almost 28).  I just did not know what "it" was.  I have always been interested in being a real estate agent just never went with it.

So just recently  I decided to  look into  being real estate agent .  I googled real estate classes and ended up on  YouTube where I came across Biggerpockets! Than came across a local real estate investor on craigslist. He ended up giving me 3 books to read..

Rich dad poor dad (loved)

The Millionaire next door(eye opener)

Creating wealth (haven't gotten too.. I don't know which one it is?)

Now I am here newer than the newbies. I am treating Biggerpockets as a online class I attend everyday after work.

I am a liquor store manager working Mon-Sat 9-4 making $12 a hour.

I'm a good hard worker and normally very passionate about what I do. Now I am passionate about becoming a real estate investor.

It is all about learning and saving my money now.

Welcome to BP!

What is your first step? The podcasts are great and you can look into local REIA's in your area as well to connect with local investors

Thank you!

My first step is to control my financials to save for a down payment. I have someone who is willing to match what I save.

And I will have to look into that. I have met 1 local investor, just haven't had the time to net up with him again.
