Newbie Trying to Get Started in Plano, TX

Hello BP! I’ve been a huge fan of BP for a few years now - listening to the podcasts and reading many of the books; however, this is my first post as I am finally ready to take the plunge of actually becoming a real estate investor, and just a spectator. I’m living in Plano, TX and am interested in investing the area (beginning with flips and moving to buy and holds).

I know the area/market pretty well, as I’m helping my wife, who is a licensed agent in the area, grow her business. In doing so, we previewed and analyzed many of the recently flipped homes in the area. However, I’m still struggling to actually take the jump. I would love to connect with a few successful investors in the area.
