aspiring developer
Hello
I am looking for other developers here so I can make some ways up that learning curve. I was referred here by a friend from another forum. If this is where he learned his stuff and am excited to get started.
I am looking to get into developing in Hawaii starting with a small commercial area for an up and coming rural town. Hopefully I've come to the right place to learn how the professionals think. :D
Specifically I am looking to research, understand aspects of due diligence and some tips for taking a zoned ready to go project to financing.

Welcome aboard Narayan! BP is definitely a great place to learn. I would highly recommend to find an experienced partner you can trust to work with.
You should also talk to the planning and zoning commission to find out how the process for zoning/site approval will work. Also, a good local civil engineer can provide great information of not only the city approval process, but the construction phase as well.
Keep us posted!
