     Hello BiggerPockets community!

My name is Logan Jorns and a new investor in the St. Louis Metro East area (Belleville, IL especially). Currently I am 20 years old and am taking this semester off from school to pursue real estate investing. I grew up in a family where my parents invested in real estate and have been helping them with their properties since I was strong enough to hold a hammer.

Yesterday I co-signed the contract on my first house which I plan to flip. My goal for 2018 is to flip at least three properties and acquire at a minimum, one rental property. Year by year I plan to scale up my portfolio and leverage my real estate investments to slowly but surly grow my portfolio and eventually move into multifamily and commercial real estate. By 2028 my goal is to have one million dollars in cash flow from my investment portfolio.

I am excited to join this community and came across this website this morning during my hour of online only real estate research which I chose to do. When I am not working part time jobs, I spend hours researching via the internet, books, videos and anything I think can provide me with a source of knowledge in real estate investing.

Again, thank you for allowing me to join this community. I am excited for what the future holds!

     Cheers,

        -Logan Jorns
