I've been lurking for a bit and taking in the massive amounts of information everyone shares with each other. I figured it was time to introduce myself so my wife and I can start networking and being a part of this great community. My name is Josh McPherron and I have done two deals thus far. The first deal was 4 years ago and we have a great long term tenant. Over the last few months we have been increasing our knowledge, learning from our mistakes and listening to the BP podcasts. Our goal is to buy and hold properties and we recently just closed on a deal in St. Louis with it renting the 1st of the year.

I originally decided to go into real estate because I went through a divorce and was looking for ways to get me to retirement. After buying my first property I quickly found that I was ready to buy more properties and instead of just "getting" to retirement it has evolved into wanting to retire from my employee job to become financially free. Now that we have two properties our excitement has increased ten fold. We are constantly looking for the next deal and even though we are in saving mode and not ready to buy the next property we are already learning new ways to get there. We will keep you updated as we go through our journey.
