Hello to the BP community,

I am Cody Noblin. I am 30 years old. I have my second child due to be born in early February. Between my girlfriend and I, we have 3 children. We currently reside in Mobile, AL. We both work full time. We own our home in which we purchased recently. We are both starting in Real Estate this year. We feel we have done enough researching, studying, and learning. It is now the time to take our knowledge and turn it into action.

My targeted markets are in the Mobile, AL and Houston, TX. I will also look to the surrounding areas of these locations.

I currently work as a materials management coordinator for a company in which we manage BP's offshore projects. I am based in Houston currently. I drive back to Mobile often, usually for weekends. These commutes and the ones I've had in the recent past have opened a window for audio books and podcasts. This has contributed to my excitement quite a bit. BP's podcasts are such an invaluable resource and tool.

Our plans are for cash flow and eventually net worth gain. Our targets are single family and multi family currently. In the future, apartment complexes will be incorporated into our business. We seek enough cash flow to become financially free and independent. We want the time and ability to do anything we want, when we want, how we want and where we want. We want our children to have that same opportunity. We don't come from much, and I think that drives us just that bit more.

I want to learn the ropes of the industry in order to teach and guide my family and friends in the endless opportunity that exists in real estate. I have two brothers and two sisters, and they have varying financial situations. I have always wanted to see my family prosper. With them seeing me become successful, I hope to guide them to it as well. Another aspect of my "Why" is my mother. She is the most caring and giving woman I know. She has helped each of her children in various ways. She has a growing number of grandchildren. That number will grow to ten with the birth of my son. My father passed away in 2016. He was quite a brilliant man, but never took action in real estate. A big part of me seeks financial success in memory of him.

I hope I can meet and chat with a lot of you. I have loved all the information I have found here. I have been impressed with how much collective knowledge exists within BP. I have seen quite a few of you that I admire in many ways. I would be absolutely humbled to learn from those of you I have seen.

Thank you all for the contributions to the community. I look forward to developing relationships with each and every one of you. My biggest goal is to become seasoned enough to guide young investors to the path of success within real estate investing. Therefore, my first goal is to grow a successful real estate business with tried and true methods.
