Hello I am new to the forum and have been listening to the podcast the past year or so on recommendation from my friend. My ultimate goal is to be finically free and for my wife and I to coach basketball full time and be around to coach our children too. This year want to start my REI journey by moving my family into a single family home out of our current townhome which in turn I want to make into a rental property.

Good afternoon Tramaine & welcome to the forums! Turning your townhome into a rental is a great way to earn passive income, gain property management experience and continue your journey to financial freedom.

I'd encourage you to stay active on these forums, attend local REIA meet-ups and reach out to local investors/RE professionals. I always hear/read that real estate investing is a team sport and I agree. Build a high-quality network that can get you the results you're looking for.

Best of luck to you!
