Hello Bigger Pockets,

Excited to join this amazing Real-Estate community full of Investor Gurus. I'm Tom Bruhis, originally from Austin, TX and have lived in the Boston area for about 3.5 years now. I work at a Software Company, and am looking to purchase my first Property in the Boston area. In Texas, I helped my father acquire and manage a few rental properties, now it's time to do it on my own.

First landed on Bigger Pockets through the podcast, which is really well done...would definitely recommend it to anyone who hasn't listened. Currently reading Brandon Turner's Book on Rental Property Investing, also a very informative play by play for getting started.

Short term goals include: 1) Buying a Multi-family property to live in one unit and rent the others 2) Build out my team of Lenders, Real Estate Agent, Lawyer, CPA, Contractor, and even Property Manager 3) Begin analyzing 2-3 deals a day to get a true understanding of my market and pick out the best investments.

Long term goals include: Meeting friends, mentors, and investors in the Bigger Pockets community and growing my knowledge of various Real-Estate topics. Also re-investing in more rental properties in the future as well as dive into the world of wholesaling.

Nice to meet you all, looking forward to the Journey ahead!

-Tom Bruhis
