New to investing in Phoenix area

Hi everybody in the BP community. My name is Justin Ellison,  i'm new to real estate investing. I have not yet made my first investment.

Real estate first gathered my interest a few years back and I never took action and eventually fell to the side. After several years of working multiple jobs and doing whatever possible just to make it ends meet and the birth of my first child, I know now it's time to take action to work towards a better future for my family.

I am interested in generated passive income and cash flow through rental propertys of mainly single-family homes and small multi-family units in the Phoenix AZ area and surrounding cities. I am in Peoria myself.

I look forward to conversing with new people within the BiggerPockets community!

Welcome @Justin T. Ellison. If you haven’t read it since your child was born, the next book on your list is Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert K. This book is mentioned numerous times on BP media, but I first read it after the birth of my first child and it created a paradigm shift at how I look at many things, including investing. Best of luck!
