New Investor in South Central Wisconsin

Hello everyone! My name is Sam Koenig and I currently teach middle school in a district near Madison, WI.  I joined Bigger Pockets over a year ago but my studies have gotten more serious over the past few months. The first few months I joined Bigger Pockets I was still finishing my college degree at UW-Milwaukee and I didn't spend anytime on the forums. I'm looking forward to be more proactive in the forums and learn from many experienced investors! My last few months have consisted of listening to the BP podcasts to and from school, as well as reading the books "ABC's of Real Estate Investing" and "Rich Dad, Poor Dad."

My goal is to make that first deal happen by June 2018. My initial focus is going to be on flipping (during the summers) as well as buy and holding rentals down the road. I currently live in an 8 unit family owned apartment that I would love to eventually buy.

I can't wait to make connections through this wonderful community on BP!

I hope everyone enjoys their holiday season!

-Sam
