Newbie Investor in San Diego / Florida

Hi All,

My name is Jeremy, I am new to Real estate investing, and to be honest, I don't even know where to start. I am somewhat diversified as I have other investments however I have money sitting and have always wanted to get in to real estate. I feel confident that now is that time. I have considered buying rental properties, but the housing prices on San Diego county are absurd. I am contemplating buying multi family homes in south Florida, as that is where I am from and I would have some assistance with my properties there.  I have also considered "flipping" however I don't have the capital to buy homes outright nor do I have the experience. I am here to build relationships and to learn while helping others. I should add that I am still renting myself but can't decide if I should spend my capital on a home for my wife I or invest it out of San Diego where the money will go alot further. Any advice is greatly appreciated. If anyone is in the San Diego area and want to meet up, feel free to contact me.

Excited to be apart of the community, thank you guys at BP for what you have going here!
