Overseeing contractors with smart keyless entry for flips

Does anyone use a smart keyless entry to monitor their contractors coming and going for house flips ?  I'm thinking it would be helpful to upgrade to some type of security system that alerts me when the doors are opened and closed. If they leave the door open or are late to work, I will know right away and won't waste time wondering or driving over there several times.  Thoughts?
