New, No Money, And Eager To Learn

Hello Bigger Pockets Community! I've been searching for sometime to start investing in real estate but didn't really know where to start with no money. I've come across many mentoring programs but the fees for the programs are out rages! I'm looking for a mentor in the Miami, FL area to teach me some tips on getting started and I'm willing to do whatever I can. I am very eager to learn and passionate about beginning investing and starting my company. My goal is to own a portfolio that produces $10,000 residual income monthly and eventually building it to more after reaching the goal. I am also a licensed Real Estate Agent but I currently have my license voluntarily inactive because I was thinking about moving to a State that doesn't have mutual recognition but I'm no longer moving. I am currently unemployed and have nothing but time on my hands.

Welcome to BP! You don’t need to spend hardly any money to learn here. Listen to podcasts, read the forums and soak it all in. A good way to start would be to read Set For Life by Scott Trench. Great way to get your mindset in line, so you can begin your investment career. Sounds like you know a lot about RE from being a realtor, so again this book should help with the mindset. (Someone needs to tag Scott cuz I can’t do it on the app) Good Luck!!
