Hello BP and Buffalo/Niagara!!!

Hello All! Stumbled upon BP about 5 weeks ago and have been inhaling podcasts, forum topics and webinars like a drug ever since. Tired of the daily grind and finding so much inspiration through this community. As a Niagara County resident, I particularly love when someone from Buffalo is a guest on the podcast. Still figuring out how to best use the website!  I’m presently looking for my first intentional investment property-( I presently have a cottage 3 hours away that I’m considering lease to own- bought for kid, she upgraded.)  My real interest though is in multi-family residential. I’m studying for my realtors license while working full time.  Love my job, hate my commute and after 20 years I’m ready for a change. 

Looking to learn and contribute as much as a newbie can. Any meet ups of any sort upcoming in the Buffalo Niagara area? Closest I found is Toronto.

Hi Eileen, I've been investing for about 14 months in Western New York.  My properties are in Lockport, North Tonawanda and Buffalo.  I encourage you to keep learning but most importantly, just do it.  Once you get your first intentional rental, it will be much easier to grow.

I have not seen any BP specific meetups in the Buffalo area.  There are a few that I've attended that were listed on meetup.com.....Most of them were great.

I have thought about hosting a BP specific meetup in Buffalo for a couple of few weeks now.  If we get enough replies on this thread, maybe I'll do it!  I love networking with like minded people and hope to continue growing.  Let me know if I can answer any questions.
