Hi all, My name is David, and I am a 20 year old finance student in the Detroit area. I've decided to join BP after reading several of the books and listening to quite a few hours of podcasts. My interest in real estate stems from my family owning multiple apartment complexes, so I've been on the scene and got my hands dirty to experience the landlord life. My hope is to acquire my first rental property by 22, hopefully a single family home in the suburbs of Detroit. I hope to learn much more from the forums, and though I am just beginning, I hope to add value to this space as well!

Hi @David Borg & @Jim Goodsmith - You guys are in the right place at the right time. Detroit market and surrounding areas are heating up. Some good people to listen to would be Robyn Thompson as well for rehabs. She is the one that taught Thann Merrill. Also Chris Goff and Sean Terry for wholesaling. And then there is @Anthony Chara for lessons on investing in apartments :)
