New to BP from Concord (Charlotte) North Carolina
Hello everyone! I'm Zach Gray. I'm new to everything Real Estate. I want to learn as much as possible, maybe even shadow someone in my area.
I've worked in the automotive world (i.e. independent shops, dealerships) as a technician, service writer, and parts advisor. I moved to NC in 2008 to go to school for automotive to further my career. Since then, I've been chasing a dream to work in NASCAR, specifically work on engines. After many years and lots of networking/volunteering, I'm in.
My real estate goals are to buy as much rental properties as I can. I would love to Fix and Flip, and wholesaling seems interesting. I want to be financially independent. I still want to work at my job because I WANT to, not because I NEED to. I signed up to BP as a Pro member after a webinar.
I've attended two REIA meets in my area, thanks to my friend Jack. I'm told by many established investors that I need to get my start by wholesaling properties as I don't have money/experience.
I enjoy hiking, mountain biking, car events and motorsports, craft beers (IPA's), craft whiskeys, "legal" Shine, watching the Walking Dead with my wife. I want to start home brewing beer as well.
Any tips, hints, or words of advice are greatly appreciated!
Thanks
