Newbie excited to get started in Investing!

Hello everyone. I joined BP a couple weeks ago and have been reading non-stop on all types of REI strategies. There is so much info here for investors it's overwhelming. Its a great team to be a part of.

A little bit about myself...I live in Chester, NJ which is in Morris County.  I am currently in the restaurant business (for about 11 years).  I own 3 restaurants and although it has afforded me a nice lifestyle I have decided to look more long-term security. I purchased a 4 unit apartment building about 12 years ago.  Unfortunately, I have not bought any other investment properties since then (I used any extra savings to open new restaurants).  I am currently looking for a little change and I'm trying to transition into real estate investing.  I am ready to put more of my time/energy into finding real estate deals.  I will be starting out part-time in the beginning and hopefully full-time in the near future.  To start I would be interested in flips and fixer uppers.  Then have some buy and holds mixed in for more long-term stability.  My target area would be Morris County, Somerset County, Warren County and Sussex County.  I'm looking to network and talk to fellow BP members and possibly partner on deals.  I would welcome the relationship of any fellow investors, realtors, contractors, lenders, etc. Please PM me!
