New member and REI in Apache Junction, AZ

Hello everyone! My name is Ron Chandler and I live in Apache Junction, AZ. My current profession is an Eyelet Tool and Die Maker here in Mesa AZ. Prior to becoming a Toolmaker, I did construction work. I currently have no experience in Real Estate Investment. I was not sure how to get started in REI, so decided to enroll in a real estate class to get my license. Have to start somewhere right? Anyways that will start in a couple weeks, so in the meantime I decided to do more research and that is when I found this site. This site has a lot of great information and resources. I have bought a couple books already. I did not know there was that many types of REI, so starting out I plan to do Fix and Flips. My first goal is to replace my current income to be able to focus on this full time. My next goal is to double my current annual income, which I feel is very conservative and achievable goal. Thank you for reading this and I hope to be picking some of your brains for information soon.
