Multi-Millionaire in South Florida

OK so I may have exaggerated the subject heading a bit. Although coming from the marketing background I did, I do know how to get your attention! I am a multi-millionaire in South Florida...in my mind. Not so much in my financial statements just yet. However, that is the first step, is it not? Think and grow rich!

My name is Alan Valdes. I am 23 years old. I actually used to be a Jr. and Sr. National Team athlete for about 6 years until I injured myself. Studied Biology/Pre-Med. Then realized my heart was really in business so I dove into the internet marketing world head-first as it was something I could do from a computer while I was recovering. I come from a very heavy internet marketing background. I used to run a network of sites with an ex-partner of mine quite successfully until I dropped out of everything to take care of a family member. I have since recovered from my previous injury and am currently a professional traceur/freerunner/stuntman. If you don't know what free running or parkour is, youtube it! Or if you have seen the foot-chase scene from Casino Royale, you'll have a good idea. However, I know this is a career limited by my physical performance which unfortunately can't be sustained as long as I would like it to. Therefore, it is time for me to dive head-first into my other passion...business.

I have researched so much as far as real estate investing goes. Read articles, books, webinars, seminars, attended real estate investment club meetings. However I have still yet to make my first deal. Why? Paralysis by overanalysis I guess. Also, my lack of funds has instilled a bit of a fear in myself that I have just recently gotten over. I have read of plenty of people making deals with no money out of pocket and feel it is about damn time I am one of those people! For the short amount of time I have been on this planet, I haven't had the easiest one, but it has made me stronger and I'm always on the quest for knowledge.

I am looking for any JV partners in the area, or even not in the area. I have met a couple people who said they would put their money/credit on the line in exchange for a split of the net profits...which is absolutely fine! However, when I come to them with potential deals, they are slow to move. I have MANY connections for potential deals. My mother is currently a realtor for Coldwell Banker and has been with them for years. I have also networked with quite a few wholesalers in the area that send me great deals every single day.

Definitely also looking for mentors as well. I am a hard-working person as you will all learn. I'm sure I am going to ask a million questions on these boards.

I look forward to contributing some of my internet marketing knowledge to help out everyone here and also look forward to learning from you all as well!!

Thank you! Have a great day!
Alan Valdes
