Another newbie from Seattle area
Hi friends and future colleagues,
This is Anup, a newbie from Seattle area wanted to introduce myself. I've recently started learning about financial independence and soon realized real estate is a way to go (buy and hold mainly). I've invested in one SFR in Tacoma with partners who have been investing in this market for more than a year. The property is being rehabbed by them (I am a passive investor so have learnt few skills but not a whole lot during this process). I am continuously learning (reading forums and listening to BP podcasts every day during my commute to/from office.
My near term goal is to continue investing locally whenever it makes sense (close to 1% rent and at least some cashflow) and learn more about other markets for out-of-state investing.
Looking forward to connecting and collaborating with you all on the best platform on planet earth.

Anup Shah I do buy hold investing. I don't flip because I see that as a job and I have one already. You can get involved as a lender but just make sure you find a proven one.
