New Member Getting Out of the Military

My name is Samantha, and I'm currently serving in the USN in Rota, Spain. I'm originally from Virginia Beach, Virginia. In October 2018, I will be transferring from the military life into the civilian life. Becoming a Real Estate investor would provide me with the financial freedom that I desire. Over the next year, I will be making this transaction. As I'm currently stationed overseas, I find it difficult to start this process. My plan is to use my VA loan and buy a duplex, as required I will be staying in this property for a year. Also I plan to buy a total of five duplexes, which; I will later trade up for a Apartment Complex. My first big hurdle is finding a place to live. I'm looking for an area that is great for real estate investing with a college campus near. This will provide me the opportunity to finish my Business degree. I'm looking for mentor who would be able to offer me guidance and answer and any questions I might have. Thank you! Have a great day!
