New Member Getting Out of the Military

My name is Samantha, and I'm currently serving in the USN in Rota, Spain. I'm originally from Virginia Beach, Virginia. In October 2018, I will be transferring from the military life into the civilian life. Becoming a Real Estate investor would provide me with the financial freedom that I desire. Over the next year, I will be making this transaction. As I'm currently stationed overseas, I find it difficult to start this process. My plan is to use my VA loan and buy a duplex, as required I will be staying in this property for a year. Also I plan to buy a total of five duplexes, which; I will later trade up for a Apartment Complex. My first big hurdle is finding a place to live. I'm looking for an area that is great for real estate investing with a college campus near. This will provide me the opportunity to finish my Business degree.
