Newbie Introduction from Iowa

So, after almost a month as a member, I am getting around to my first forum post.

My name is Lucas and I live in a small town in Iowa.  I am new to the real estate investor world.  Right now, I have a couple W2 jobs.  My wife is a chiropractor and I handle the business side of things.  I also draw house plans for home owners and contractors.  We own the building that my wife's office is located in and will be closing on second building (with and apartment above) next week..."house" hacking!  We are moving her office to the main level of that building and then renting out our current building.  We just became landlords! My goal is to buy and hold single and multi-family units as a form of "retirement".  I found out about BP from a video on youtube.

I am looking to fill my brain with all the great info on this site and from other members.
