I joined a while ago but have been lurking.  Finally starting to get serious.  I live in San Diego but grew up in Illinois. I've been looking at various opportunities in the Midwest.  I'm now in the process of purchasing my first rental, a six-unit building in Iowa.  Time to get my feet wet.  Hoping this is the first of many!
