Newbie from Glendora, CA

Hello, Everyone! My name is Jose Martinez. I am a newbie Real Estate investor out of Glendora, CA. It's about as far east as you can go in Los Angeles County. I've been a lurker here since the beginning of the year. I stumbled upon BP while I was looking for investing podcasts. As soon as I heard that lovely "QQQQQQQQUUUUUIIIICCCKKKKKK TIP!", I was hooked! HA! After looking at different investing options, I have decided to commit to REI. I am interested in SMF to buy and hold.

My brother, father, and I own a cleaning business out of LA County (currently in the process of changing our business name and entity). I enjoy working for myself and my family, but I am looking to create streams of passive income through REI.

Any recommendations and tips would be helpful. I am currently in the process of getting mine and my wife's personal finances in order to begin investing. I would love to to know of any local meet ups. I am trying to learn and soak in as much as I can. Hello to everyone and continue crushing it!
