On the hunt in utah

I am 32 and left my family business to make my own way. I spent the summer guiding fly fishing out of a remote camp in Alaska, which forced me to become a landlord (had to rent my house out) and the light finally went on. I have always been interested in real estate and development. I sat on a couple construction boards in college but didn't pursue the passion. I have spent the past 3 weeks trying to network/job hunt in Salt Lake City and it is proving to be very difficult. I am looking for an entry-level position in real estate investing/development/management and want to learn all aspects of the business from the ground up.

My condo cash flows well... i can rent it for 2.5-3x my mortgage. I purchased it 3 years ago and had a feeling the neighborhood would blow up. I know this isn't typical and there was a lot of luck involved.

I spent all summer listening to the BP podcasts and reading books. I have a very basic understanding of investing etc... and can't wait to learn more. I really appreciate all the info on the forum and in the podcasts and look forward to contributing at some point.
