Direct mail - letters or postcards??

Hello BP community!

I am a new member here and am excited to start my career as a real estate investor here in the Chicago area. Since I am still a W-2 employee, I have decided to start with wholesaling to build experience as well some active income.

I plan on utilizing direct mail as a primary means to uncovering deals and have a few questions for anyone who cares to answer:

1.) Which tend to have better conversion rates - letters or postcards? Can you offer any metrics (i.e., this many postcards/letters yielded this many leads on average)?

2.)  What is the most cost-effective way to send out mail?

3.) What is your opinion on GoBigprinting.com? What are some other websites you have used?

Any additional feedback is welcomed and much appreciated!

Thanks,

Conrad B.
