new member in Waco TX

Howdy Y'all,

I am a new member from the world of Fixer Upper!!!  Amazing what a TV show can do to the real estate market!  Anyway, I am also a dentist and my practice is in McGregor, TX.....watch the Fixer Upper where C and J made their "bed and breakfast".  I am looking to supplement my retirement and my income with real estate, probably single family homes in the rural communities around Waco.  I don't know much but I am looking to learn and get started.  I would love to find local advice and mentors.  Thanks for being there for us newbies.
