Hi from Atlanta, GA
Hey everyone,
I'm a university student in Atlanta majoring in finance and economics. Up until now I've been trading equities quite successfully. However, with stock prices nearly fully recovered, I was thinking of stepping into property for both diversification and more passive income.
My dad is in property development and my mom flips homes on the side, this is sort of where I've developed this side interest in property.
My main purpose of joining the site is primarily to learn at this point. I'm far to green to be willing to sink a large chunk of my net worth in a single investment. Additionally, I'm hoping to wait till I settle somewhere more permanently. I doubt that I'll still be in Atlanta after I graduate.
Financially, I'm in a pretty great position for my age. In terms of net worth, I'm close to 400k with the bulk of that being generated last year through trading and all of it being very very liquid. Again though, with growth slowing down, I'm looking to find another way to put my money to work. I've been quite lucky and I would hate to waste it all by being lazy with my finances.
I look forward to learning a lot from you guys.
