New Investor and Real Estate Agent in San Francisco Bay Area

Hi Everyone!

My name is Andrew Domingues, and I'm so excited to be on Bigger Pockets. I'm from Millbrae, CA, which is in the San Francisco Bay Area. I bought a triplex in Richmond, CA with my two brothers about two years ago. It was supposed to be a buy-and-hold but one thing led to another (meaning first the kitchen came down, then the walls until it became a skeleton) and now I'm knee deep in a year-and-a-half long project of fixing one of the units up. We hope to be generating income from all three units by the start of next year. Not only am I an investor but, thanks to my fiance, I'm also a newly licensed real estate agent. Right now, I work as a double decker bus driver in San Francisco so I can pay the bills, but I'm gearing up to just bite the bullet and dive into becoming an agent full time. My goal is to build a real estate empire that I can pass down to my son and future unborn children. I'd like to become a wholesaler, work on building a property management team, and start my own brokerage. I'm hoping Bigger Pockets can get me a few steps closer to this reality. Anyway. Thanks to everyone reading this post. I'd love to get to know local Bigger Pockets members and any suggestions on what REIA to join or meetups to attend would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again!
