Newbie from Saratoga Springs, NY!

Hello Bigger Pockets!

My name is Lauren Minkoff and I am a NJ native currently living in upstate NY. I am finishing up my last year of law school whilst working for a non-profit. I have recently been interested in real estate and wanted to see what sort of information and help I might receive. 

I attended a real estate group meeting, AIN, down in Albany and a real estate agent there had an overwhelming number of positive things to say about the site and I've loved everything I've heard from podcasts to reading forum threads!

I have a real estate business partner and our goal is to buy and hold different multi family properties on the east coast. We would love to meet investors or even more seasoned real estate agents who would like to give two newbies some guidance in this process.

We are eager to get our first multi family off the ground and take some action!

Welcome Lauren! I'm not sure how far you guys have gotten in determining your plans but I would say first step would be deciding where to invest if you haven't done so yet. There's like a post a day of someone asking where they should invest so the search bar above might become your best friend in determining the answer to the age old question of "should I invest out of state"?
