Hello everyone!

I'm a 27 year old Systems Administrator (IT). As I'm sure is quite common, I was bit by the real estate bug after reading Rich Dad Poor Dad. I then discovered Bigger Pockets, and spent the next several months listening to podcasts and devouring information from the forums.

I came across house hacking, and loved the idea of essentially giving myself an instant raise. After reading several books and studying as much information as I could get my hands on, I found the perfect triplex that passed all the number tests. I closed on the triplex on July 20th, and have spent the last few weeks doing some renovations before I move in.

My current goal is to become financially free by acquiring enough rental properties to reach $5,000 per month in income. I plan on learning more about flipping houses, and using flips to buy more rentals so I can reach my goal sooner.

I look forward to becoming a part of this great community.

Matt
