Hello all! I'm a newbie here in a couple ways. I'm new to the REI world and also to the Greenville, SC area. I've always been intrigued by REI investing but being a Dave Ramsey follower I wasn't comfortable jumping in until we had our debt knocked out. Now that we are about to be debt free, I see it as the perfect time to jump in! I do have a small bit of experience in doing a 203k rehab with our first home. We found a home in a great area of Louisville, KY that had been vacant for three years. It was a 2/1 but had two living rooms, which allowed us to successfully convert it to a 3/2. While the rehab experience was somewhat of a nightmare, we learned a great deal and made a nice profit when we sold it prior to our relocation. I look forward to interacting with you and hopefully meet some of you who live in the Greenville area!
