New Member from Chicago

Hey everyone - I'm Mike Boyer and a new member here from Chicago, IL.  I randomly stumbled upon the podcasts a few weeks ago and have been listening almost everyday to learn and absorb everything!  

Other than purchasing my first and current home (condo) in 2015, I don't have any additional experience in investing in real estate.  For my first property, I will likely partner with a good friend of mine in St. Louis that is a very experienced investor and will help manage the property.  In the meantime, I am trying to learn everything I can in order to bring value to the partnership.

My goal is to start my investment portfolio with single home/duplex rentals and grow into larger multi-families.  Hope to meet some of you at some local meetups and contribute as soon as possible to the community!
