Hello, biggerpockets! I am CRE professional living in Chicago and starting to test the waters as an owner/operator in the form of stabilized, cash-flowing 2-4 unit assets. Over the last 8 years, I've worked for two large financial institutions originating debt for multiple capital sources including Balance sheet/portfolio, Conduit, Agencies, as well as Bridge/ Mezz/Pref Equity through an open-ended, leveraged debt fund. I am eager to put my credit skills and hard earned money to work in an effort to start building financial independence. However, while I have extensive experience in large institutional transactions, I have little recent experience in the SFR/Conforming space. I cut my teeth at a resi mortgage bank in the last cycle but it's been well over a decade since I've even looked at a 1003.

I'm here to learn from all of you great people and hope to acquire my first asset in the next six months. I am also willing to help anyone involved in the CRE space, don't hesitate to ask me questions if you are currently active. Looking forward to meeting some like-minded people and perhaps some future business partners!
