Foreign national Newbie to Real Estate

I am excited to be actively part of this community. I have been a member since 2015 but i was never made the effort to use this amazing resource. I was still on the fence about real estate. I am an international student from Ghana and a current senior in college. looking at the next steps of my life i wanted to get a head start on creating a comfortable future for myself and i have decided that real estate is the way for me. I have read a couple of books and i continually search for more education. I do however have questions about financing options for foreign nationals like myself, especially students with F1 visa's. It seems it is very hard to get any financing for real estate if you are an international student. I wanted to know if there was someone among this community who has some experience dealing with international students and if there are any other non-traditional financing options available. I am excited to embark on this journey.
