Real Estate Investing Advice.

Would someone mind offering advice to someone 24 years old who is interested in investing in real estate but doesn't know how to...I have read Rich Dad, Poor Dad which is about the only "experience" I have in real estate but some structured advice would be helpful.

Hey Christopher, I started a couple years before you and the best advice I ever got was to read as much as you can possibly read, become the expert in a couple different areas, and continually take action. Posting on here is a good start, but read as much as you can and then start coming here with really specific questions. Don't expect anyone to work hard for you. You are the only person that can make you successful and it won't happen without intense focus and strong goals.

One of the biggest mistakes I made (and still made) is shiny-object syndrome. Every podcast I listened to, I wanted to do what they did. Instead, I'd be much further along if I had just focused on one or two things and became an expert in them.
