New guy jumping in head first!

Hey all,

Wanted to introduce myself.  I am 35, married and father of 3 boys.  I come from a background of small start ups located in Kansas City, MO and currently residing in Lees Summit, MO.  I have been self employed for 5 running a successful production audio company called Follow Happy Productions for film and TV.  Fortunate to get to do stuff I really like for a living but finding I need more time to do the things I love (family time, vacations, etc.)  I feel like real estate is the answer for me.  Especially as I need to increase my retirement plan goals.  

I've been spending a couple hours a day reading, watching, and listening to podcast on real estate and personal finance.  Eventually I would love to meet up with some like minded people in my city.  Especially those in the Lees Summit, Blue Springs, Independence area.  

So much to learn but I'm excited about this new journey!
