Real Estate Novice from Houston TX

Hi everyone, my name is Santos Gloria. I was born and raised here in Houston, Tx. I currently work in the Automotive Collision Repair field as a Refinish Technician. The only experience I have in Real Estate is going through the process of buying my current home. I have always been interested in Real Estate, but when I found the BP podcast  I really got excited about all the different options in this field.

My goal right now is to learn as much as I can about Real Estate. Since my current employer will pay for credited college courses I'm going to start by working towards a Real Estate License. Of course, because of my work schedule, this will take longer than usual, so in the mean time, I'll be studying investing and looking for deals. 

I also would like to find a group here in Houston to begin socializing and learning from others in this Industry. I look forward to being active on here and getting to know you guys.
