No such thing as using no money in investing

I am a new investor & I have to say that there is no such thing as starting out with no money.  Somewhere, somehow you are going to use money somewhere weather its on useful apps, classes, seminars. I understand that they say getting into investing with no money but I find that to not be true. If you need a mentor they want to charge for their services to me just starting out with no experiences I have found that getting my foot in the door has been the most difficult thing.

I will day that I am a very ambitious and motivated person. To me the harder it is to to something just pushes me even harder to show people that yes I did it & I did all on my own.  I just don't understand that if you were once in my shoes starting out why & you claim to want to help people out cause you were once where I or anyone who is new to investing.  Why would you not try to help instead of wanting money up front why like you stated April why not put a business proposition on the table & say that they will Mentor us & they get a split of the deals up until we are comfortable to venture on our own??? I have educated myself enough & feel confident enough to do deals on my own.  I have  no problem putting in work never have I know that in order to be successful you have to be willing to putting the work. Thank you April & David for responding.
