Fresh out the gates from Gainesville, Florida

Hey everyone,

I'm Parker Hewes. Originally from Milwaukee, WI and a recent graduate from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN, I am fresh into the game of real estate. Although I have close relationships with two very successful single family realtors, my experience plateaus at the education I have gained from them. I am currently studying realty with the intention of gaining significant experience in the field before I start and grow an investing business. At 23 years old, I have a lot of time ahead of me and a youthful eagerness to put in the hours and hard work. I intend to make quick work, though, because my real estate investing goal is to generate enough cash flow for my future family to be financially independent by the time I'm 40. 

I am most interested in the buy and hold strategy with multifamily (possible live-in flips) or small apartments. At this stage in my investment career I am striving to get my hands dirty by any means necessary. I want to learn efficiently while being as productive as I can for my partner/lender. I pride myself on my focus and drive, which has brought me success in life so far. 

I found BiggerPockets through the podcast and I can't wait to really engage in these forums and all the educational opportunities it has to offer. Thank you all who took the time to read this. It is a beautiful thing when a community can be formed across such distance. I'm excited to chat with as many of you as I can.
