Hi Everyone,

My name is Jason Lashmet from Moorpark CA. I've been working as a software engineer for around 15 years, and trying to save as much as possible. I started reading up on real estate about a month ago and have been listening to the podcasts, lurking in the forums, and trying to absorb as much as I can. My first goal is to purchase a rental property before the end of the year. Depending on how that goes, I'm interested in continuing to build a portfolio of single family or small multifamily properties, and possibly moving to larger multifamily at some point. This is an awesome community - I only wish I had found this years ago!
