Hey Everyone! My name is Tom Waters, I'm a New Yorker, a Penn State Nittany Lion, and a DC sports fan. I first became aware of Bigger Pockets through Brandon Turner's awesome book, The Book On Rental Property Investing, and later through the podcast. My work is in finance and is mostly made up of doing statistical research and building software around statistical models. As far as experience, I am just getting started! Initially, I'm focused on buy and hold, specifically small multi-family houses in the counties within driving distance of NYC: Westchester, Putnam, Orange, Dutchess, etc. I am excited to engage with this energetic community and would be grateful for any advice wiser members can offer!
