New Aspiring Investor from the Atlanta area

Time to break the Ice and create my intro post.   Hello everyone,  my name is Greg Brooks and as the title states I am from Atlanta, which I have lived the majority of my life.  

I currently work in the Healthcare industry and even though enjoy my profession, I am looking to transition out of it over the next ten years and into real-estate full time.   My current focus is on acquiring my first buy and hold rental property. 

A little bit about myself: well outside of work, I enjoy rock climbing, generally being outside, and playing recreational sports.
