Hello Everyone,

 My name is Erick Barraza and I signed up on to Bigger Pockets several months ago, and I am finally putting this wonderful website to good use. I am currently living in Palm Desert and plan to invest in this general area, specifically buy and hold. I currently work as a nurse and I love what I do, but have always been interested in the area of real estate. Although my knowledge in real estate is limited, I have learned an exponential amount of information via Bigger Pockets in the last several weeks. I am really surprised by how great the community is on Bigger Pockets and  love to read everyone's posts. Moreover, I am currently looking into my first investment property, so I will definitely be posting more often. 

Finally, thanks to all whom contribute so much to this wonderful website, it is truly amazing to be able to learn such valuable knowledge from an excellent group of experts.
