Good day to anyone reading,

My name is Jacob. I'm brand new to bigger pockets and real estate investing. I've read dozens of articles, a few books, and watched dozens of YouTube videos so far. I'm active duty military and currently stationed in Everett, WA. I plan to attend a University in either Washington or Oregon in the Fall of 2018. That is likely when I plan to buy my first rental property as an owner occupant. I'm interested in finding REIA's near Everett so I continue to learn and make connections. I hope to use FHA or VA home loan for my first property. A duplex is what I imagine my first rental being. I'd appreciate any advice

Thank you
