New member but experienced investor in Houston
Hello,
I've been investing in residential real estate in and around Houston since 2001. I've rehabbed quite a few houses and I've wholesaled a whole bunch more. A friend of mine introduced me to the site and said I should network online, so here I am.
My current business model is strictly wholesaling. Most months I wholesale 5 to 8 deals, ranging from a couple grand profit to 10K+. I've got a few other investors that have hired me to run their leads for them and they pay me a percentage of the wholesale profit at closing or a flat fee if they close on the property themselves. Kind of a sweet deal - negotiate their deals for them and split the money.
Wholesaling, to some people, isn't really "investing" but rather just "marketing". I can see their point, but either way I love what I do.
I hope to meet many new friends and possibly future partners here. Look forward to many great discussions...
