Putting Lexington, VA on the BP map!

Hello from small town Virginia! I am a high school Agriculture instructor looking to expand into real estate investing. I purchased and rehabbed a foreclosure property, using the property as my personal residence for several years after the flip before listing. The home is currently under contract (fingers crossed) and I am using this time to better research real estate investing and my local market. I am looking to utilize my profits to continue in either the fix and flip or a "BRRRR" methods of real estate investing. If all goes well with the closing, I should be looking to purchase in or near Lexington, VA in July. Bigger Pockets, several other podcasts, as well as books, have been my principle method of research to better direct and systemize my real estate pursuits. I am excited to find a community of individuals and conversations that will be able to provide insight.
