Hi all,

I am new to the real estate game and I have caught the bug. My husband and I have been devouring books, podcasts, and now can see no future without real estate...there is no turning back!

We went under contract just over a year ago on a pre-construction town house in Denver (North City Park). We got a killer deal- the same units are being sold for 50k more than what we are locked in at and we haven't even moved in..the place doesn't even have drywall in yet! This has opened our eyes to the power of real estate and we want a seat at the table. Our goal is to rent the TH after 1 year, use the equity as leverage to buy a place that we can house hack or BRRR, and repeat. Ultimately, we would love to replace one (or both??) of our incomes and have a solid retirement plan...enough of this 9-5, 30% tax paying, wage earning grind business.

We know there are a lot of things to learn and want to soak up as much knowledge as possible. I would love to meet up with some Denver BPers who could share some insights and strategies. If anyone would like to meet up for beers or coffee and talk real estate, let's do it! Disclosure- we do have an adorable and spunky 9 month old baby who might tag along.

Shallow pockets...for now,

Charlsi
