Looking to get into investing - introduction

Good Morning everyone, I recently ran into BiggerPockets thanks to reddit. I've recently turned 25 and have become interested in investing in real estate. I have connections in construction, I worked with a few companies, and that's what sparked my interest in real estate. Along with knowing one or two friends in real estate. I have a couple of questions for everyone reading this: If you were 25, what would you do to begin investing in real estate? Would you become a real estate agent? Would you work for investors(if so, how?)? I've done some research and I'm a bit overwhelmed by all the information on how/where to start. The community here is great and I've listened to several of the podcasts( I'd say it's one of my favorite podcasts that I've been listening to lately) Thank you all!

@Mario Rivera - Welcome to Bigger Pockets!  You have definitely come to the right place to begin learning about real estate investing.

As for how and where to start. I always encourage new members to do two things:

1) Listen to BP Podcasts (like you already are)
2) Try to attend a local BP Meet Up (if there is one in your area)

My husband and I have been investing for 14 years now, and I attribute a lot of our success to this community.

BP-ers are supportive and full of knowledge!

Welcome again, Mario, and happy investing :)
