Hi amazing Biggerpockets members!!

I am a new in the real estate arena trying to find my first deal with the strategy of Buy, Live and Hold multi family rental properties. I have been looking in the Lewiston/Auburn area in Maine State and my question is when the multi family property you want to buy is surrounded by multi family houses a lot of them is it better or when the multi family property I wanted is surrounded by a mix of single family houses and multi family houses and why ??

thanks in advance wonderful people!!!

Yes - it is always better to be surrounded by SFRs. This offers more desirability to you and your tenants, more competitive advantage to your rental, and better exit opportunities :)

Good luck!
